Actress Kushboo Khan-Sundar C Story Online Kushboo Khan-Sundar (born 19 September 1970) is an Indian actress, television hostess and producer. She is also a judge in the Maanada Mayilaada.  She started her career in the 1980s as a child artist. Her first movie appearance was Thodisi Bewafaii (1980) where she had an uncredited role. She had her first credited role in the 1981 film Laawaris. Since then, she has acted in over 100 movies, some of which opposite leading actors like Rajnikanth, Kamal Hassan, Mammootty, Mohanlal, Sathyaraj, and Prabhu.  She is known for her TV show Jackpot and her serials Kalki, Janani and Kungumam. She was in the role of the sister of Anil Kapoor in the 80s hit Meri Jung, and danced with Javed Jaffrey in his first dancing role on screen in the superhit song “Bol Baby Bol, Mere sang dol”.  Apart from Tamil movies, she also acted in various movies in Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, and Malayalam. Kushboo was introduced to South Indian by the Kannada actor-director Ravichandran. She has acted in many movies with him notably Ranadheera (1987), Anjada Gandu, Kaliyuga Pandavulu, Shanthi Kranthi and Yugapurusha. Khushboo has widely been recognized as a bold on screen protagonist. Personal life She is married to actor, director Sundar C, and she converted to Hinduism after they got married[1]. They have two daughters named Avanthika and Ananditha, after whom they have named their production house. She has been living in Chennai for the past twenty years. She also has three brothers. Her brother, Abdullah, is expected to make his debut in the movie industry, playing the lead role in the movie “Netru pol inru illai”. [1] During her peak years in the Tamil movie industry, she claimed she was secretly married to actor Prabhu Ganesan, son of the legendary late Tamil actor Sivaji Ganeshan. She had been paired with Prabhu in many movies such as Chinna Thambi, Dharmathin Thalaivan, Vetri Vizha, Paandithurai, Kizhakku Karai, My Dear Marthandan, etc. but this news was never confirmed by Prabhu, who was already married. Prabhu never divorced his wife and the news soon died out. The duo with the enviable chemistry only acted in Chinna Vathiyar, and most recently, in Vegam after the well-publicised controversy. In 2005, there was a well-publicized controversy about her remarks in an interview for AIDS awareness, about the need for protective sex: she said it was fine for girls to have pre-marital sex – but not without taking precautions to prevent pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. Later, she added that no educated man should expect his wife or girlfriend to be a virgin. [2] Two political parties lashed out at her because of her remarks: the Dalit Panthers of India and the Pattali Makkal Katchi[2]. She was ordered to court and her counsel offered to withdraw the previously issued anticipatory bail petition. The judge acceded and dismissed the petition as withdrawn.[2].The Supreme Court dismissed all cases registered against South Indian film actress and activist Khusboo for her alleged remarks on pre-marital sex.[3] Kushboo’s popularity is such that her fans built a temple dedicated to her at Tiruchirapalli but irate fans razed it following her controversial comments in 2005 about pre-marital sex and AIDS. புதியதாக ஏற்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ள தேசிய புலனாய்வு அமைப்பின் (என்ஐஏ) தலைவராக ஆர்.வி. ராஜுவை நியமித்து மத்திய அரசு இன்று உத்தரவிட்டது. மும்பைத் தாக்குதல் சம்பவத்தை அடுத்து நாட்டின் பாதுகாப்பு ஏற்பாடுகளை ஆராய்ந்த மத்திய அரசு, இது தொடர்பாக தேசிய அளவில் புதிய புலனாய்வு அமைப்பு ஒன்றை நிறுவ முடிவு செய்தது. அதன்படி தேசிய புலனாய்வு அமைப்பு(என்.ஐ.ஏ) தோற்றுவிக்கப்பட்டது. இந்நிலையில் தேசிய புலனாய்வு அமைப்பின் தலைவராக ராதா வினோத் ராஜுவை (56) நியமனம் செய்து, மத்திய அரசு இன்று உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளது. இதற்கான நியமன உத்தரவில், உள்துறை அமைச்சர் ப. சிதம்பரத்தின் பரிந்துறையின் பேரில் பிரதமர் மன்மோகன்சிங் கையெழுத்திட்டார். வரும் 2010 ஆம் ஆண்டு வரை ராஜு இந்த பதவியை வகிப்பார். தற்போது ஜம்மு- காஷ்மீர் மாநில சிறப்பு டிஜிபி-யாக பணி புரிந்து வரும் ஆர்.வி. ராஜு, 1975 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஐபிஎஸ் குழுவில் தேர்வானவர் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. என்.ஐ.ஏ. தலைவராக ராஜு நியமிப்பட்டுள்ளதை அடுத்து, ஜம்மு காஷ்மீர் டிஜிபி பொறுப்பிலிருந்து அவரை விடுவித்து. முதல்வர் உமர் அப்துல்லா உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளார்.

'கோல்டன் குளோப்' விருது பெற்று சென்னை திரும்பிய இசையமைப்பாளர் ஏ.ஆர். ரஹ்மானுக்கு, விமான நிலையத்தில் உற்சாக வரவேற்பு அளிக்கப்பட்டது. ஹாலிவுட்டின் மிகவும் புகழ் பெற்ற 'கோல்டன் குளோப்' விருது, 'ஸ்லம்டாக் மில்லியனர்' என்ற ஆங்கிலப் படத்துக்கு இசையமைத்ததற்காக 'இசைப் புயல்' ஏ.ஆர். ரஹ்மானுக்கு வழங்கப்பட்டது. கடந்த ஞாயிற்றுக் கிழமையன்று அமெரிக்காவின் பெவர்லிஹில்ஸ் நகரில் நடந்த விழாவில், இவ்விருதை ஏ.ஆர். ரஹ்மான் பெற்றுக் கொண்டார். இந்நிலையில் தனது அமெரிக்கப் பயணத்தை முடித்துக் கொண்டு ஏ.ஆர். ரஹ்மான் நேற்று சென்னை திரும்பினார். விமான நிலையத்தில் பெரும் திரளான ரசிகர்கள் வந்திருந்து அவருக்கு உற்சாக வரவேற்பு அளித்தனர். கிராமிய இசைக் கலைஞர்கள் கலை- இசை நிகழ்ச்சிகளை நடத்தி ரஹ்மானை பாரம்பரிய முறைப்படி வரவேற்றனர்.பின்னர் விமான நிலையத்தில் செய்தியாளர்களிடம் பேசிய ரஹ்மான், கோல்டன் குளோப் விருது கிடைத்திருப்பது பெரும் மகிழ்ச்சியை அளிப்பதாகவும், இதன் மூலம் சர்வதேச அளவில் தனக்கு அங்கீகாரம் கிடைத்துள்ளதாகவும் குறிப்பிட்டார். மேலும், இவ்விருதை இந்தியத் திருநாட்டுக்கு அர்ப்பணிப்பதாக உணர்ச்சிப் பெருக்குடன் அவர் கூறினார்.

பெட்ரோல், டீசல் மற்றும் சமையல் எரிவாயுவின் விலை குறைப்பு குறித்த முக்கிய அறிவிப்பு நாளை வெளியாகும் என தெரிகிறது. சர்வதேசச் சந்தையில் கச்சா எண்ணெய் விலை தொடர்ந்து குறைந்து வருவதையடுத்து, பெட்ரோல், டீசல், சமையல் எரிவாயு விலைகளை குறைக்க வலியுறுத்தி பல்வேறு தரப்பிலிருந்தும் மத்திய அரசுக்கு கோரிக்கைகள் வந்த வண்ணம் உள்ளன. இதுதொடர்பான மத்திய அமைச்சரவை கூட்டம் நாளை நடைபெறுகிறது. இதில் பெட்ரோல், டீசல் மற்றும் சமையல் எரிவாயு ஆகியவற்றின் விலைகளை குறைப்பது குறித்து முடிவு செய்யப்படவுள்ளது.பெட்ரோல் விலையை லிட்டருக்கு ரூ.5ம், டீசல் விலையை லிட்டருக்கு ரூ.3ம் சமையல் எரிவாயு சிலில்ண்டர் விலையை ரூ.25ம் குறைக்க பெட்ரோலியத் துறை அமைச்சகம் திட்டமிட்டுள்ளதாக கூறப்படுகிறது.

Eros International and Ayngaran International have finally washed their hands off their prestigious mega budget project - Endhiran. Putting all speculations to rest, Sun Pictures, an unit of Sun TV, has brought this multilingual film for a whopping Rs. 165 crores. The production house – Eros International had produced two Bollywood flicks Drona and Yuvvraj recently. But these films did not do well at the box office and the production house was reeling under severe financial pressure ever since these releases. It is said that the producers were looking for a suitable "buyer" to sell Endhiran, as they could not continue with the project. The major factor that was taken into consideration during the discussion with Sun Pictures was Rajinikanth's call sheet. It is said that Rajini was due to take part in the shooting from December 19th, 2008 to January 30th 2009. The next schedule was due to commence from February 4th onwards. The producers probably did not want to waste this all-important call sheet and therefore settled for a quick solution. With director Shankar in no mood to compromise on the production cost of the movie, the extremely high advance amount that Eros International had paid to some of the top actors and actresses from Bollywood for future projects and the overall global economic meltdown, are the other factors attributed to their inability to support Endhiran any further. An official announcement is expected from Sun Pictures.
